Wow, we're so busy up here, it's not funny. It's "fun" for us ferrets
who love to be busy, but not funny. Especially to all you guys on earth
who will be missing all of these loved ones. Well, let me give you an
update on everything.

Today, a little ferret named Dewey came stomping across the bridge today.
I looked at him with big eyes, introduced myself and asked why all the
fuss, ya know? He said he wasn't ready to leave his mommy Kimberly yet.
He said he fought as hard as he could for her so he'd be around for this
Christmas. He stood there with his little arms and paws folded across
his chest in defiance. I said, "well, hold on there now little cowpoke"
in my best John Wayne voice. This almost made him smile. His whiskers
twitched all over the place, trying to keep a straight face. I tried
again. But I tried a different voice and used James Cagney's instead,
"Now listen here, you dirty rat ... see ... we're not all bad up here,
see ... ". And that did it. His furry mouth started to crack upwards
on the right side. So I finished it off with a good Dirty Harry, "You
gotta ask yourself, punk, do you feel lucky..." That's when Dewey grinned
ear to ear and said in his best Robert Dinero impression,

"Are you lookin' at me?! Because if yer lookin' at me...." And we ran to
each other, circled each other dooking.

I told him, he's gonna love it up here. And that Christmas is expecially
fun. We have so much going on up here. Santa even lets us participate
in his Christmas eve trip. But I left that for a surprise.

Just then, this white blur whisked right by me and pounced on top of poor
Dewey. "Are you my new friend are ya? I've been waiting for the perfect
friend. Are you my friend??" I told Dewey with a roll of my eyes, "Sigh,
this is Whitey. He's been telling us that he's been waiting for the
perfect buddy. He's a little ...excitable." I tell you, they took a
real liking to each other though. They dressed each other up in Jingle
bells, and had a ball bouncing from cloud to cloud making a rucous. I
wasn't even needed to give the official tour. Dewey was all Whitey
ever needed and vice versa.
