A good note - my ferrets currently, with fingers crossed while saying
this, are not on meds and appear to be quite happy except for some
sniffles.

Their next vet visit is in January. Aileah, madam $7500.00+ of medical
bills this year, who now is energetic and cuddly where before she had an
adrenal, lymph nodes, and liver node removal, then a ruptured spleen, 2
blood transfusions, plus that condition where the red blood cells are
attacked by the white after an infection - has had the best day today.

I bought a "I Love C.A.T.S." by Cats Claws Pom Pom wand with an
assortment of attachments including mousies, feathers, and all kinds
of jingly things. (Make sure you store these toys out of reach just to
make sure they do not eat something they shouldn't - ferrets have a habit
of making a real mess out of these type of toys).

We had a grab and chase session with a fuzzy mous thing, and she was
dooking and clucking 10-15 minutes after I finished. I never (NEVER)
saw her paws skip and dance and jockey as fast - and she is around 4
years old. It was amazing. To top it off, I gave her about 15 cc of
Turkey Baby food. Yum yum.

After spending over $11400.00 in vet bills for 3 ferrets, and only
spending a few hundred dollars on ferret toys, I've decided to try to
have a new year where I hope to drop one category and overspend in the
toys dept...
