A Tale of Some of Those That Have Been Lucky
Part V
Let me chew on this a bit,
As I lay down, roll and sit...
I came to find some Clowns,
Where'd I would be a good fit...
There are all these other ferrets,
with fangs and tails and feet...
The nicest, funnest bunch,
You'd ever hope to meet!
There's lots of interesting noses,
that I like to sniff while I play...
But where they all came from,
I truly can not say...
I live with Bump and Rhun,
my bestest friends of all...
But the best part of these two,
Is that they drive the cat up the wall!
I like to run with Mr. Bump,
but Rhun is way too fast...
As I try to catch up to her,
She's on her second pass!
Though my early life was very sad,
I really must admit...
With the Fuzzbutt Rodeo Clowns,
I appear to really fit...
We sing and dance and play like mad,
the fun, it never ends...
We make you silly humans laugh,
And even flood Depends!
I'm glad that I didn't end up like,
some others in the news...
But I know that other people,
can have some different views...
When I hear how bad some people,
will treat a poor little fert...
I cry my little heart out,
My feelings are so hurt...
But now I live in a warm home,
with lots of food and snacks...
I have other ferts to play with,
and cuddly sleeping sacks...
My human often plays with me,
and shows me that he cares...
He often carries me around,
despite all my shed hairs!
Its lots of fun to live here,
I really have to say...
I hope that I'll remain here,
until my very last day...
Now, if you'll excuse me, I got some singing, dancing and cat-chasing to
do. Have a ferrety day!
