At night we have the ferrets in a very large communal multiple level
cage for safety's sake which means that some nights I wind up with
everyone wanting to say hello when Hilbert gets his meds. Tonight that
was especially true. They poured from the cage like melting gelatin as I
tossed them back inside over and over again. After a while they decided
that it was a special game, so that finally, while holding Hilbert I did
an unspeakably rude thing. I hissed at them.

Okay, first point: it worked and I was able to close the door.

Second point: there are two things you need to know about Hilbert,
one long term and one temporary. Long term first: Hilbert is an
exceedingly mild mannered soul who startles easily. Temporary?
He had a full bladder.
