FWIW, I charge $25 at the moment. But vet prices are variable depending
on the area you live in, and it's hard to say what another vet in your
area might charge (if you could find one to do it!)

No, the melatonin implants are not radical. It is merely a simple SQ
injection over the shoulder blades area. Most ferrets can be distracted
with a treat (Nutical, ferretone, baby food, etc) while the injection is
giving. I gave 4 implants today with no problems, and my 3 personnel
ferrets all have them. The implant then releases melatonin over the
next 3-4 months.
