The guy I'm currently working for got it Monday - by Wednesday, I had it
too.

The ferrets seem to be fine so far. I wash my hands before taking them
out to play, then again before I put them back. I don't kiss them or
play with them with my hands. I spray the couch (my bed) with Lysol
before I take them out. I have also been giving extra Ferretvite to
help keep their immune system strong.

Is there anything else I should do or not do? Also, what's the
incubation period for flu in ferrets? I know it took two days from the
time I was exposed to the time symptoms actually showed up.

The ferrets looked confused when I wouldn't play with them; almost as if
they were being punished but didn't know why. *sigh* But, it's for their
own good. I was thinking of denying them playtime altogether till I was
well, but Bart makes such a fuss when he wants to come out. I guess
that's a good thing in that he feels healthy enough to play, but I sure
hate risking exposing them to what I have.
