Mark,
Thanks so much for your offer of food. Since Thanksgiving, people have
been giving me all kinds of food. I now have more than I know what to do
with. I have also been getting food from a place called "Needs, Inc."
I have been working some, but not as much as I'd like. I couldn't work
yesterday because of a muscle spasm in my back. It still hurts, but I'm
going to try to work today anyway. (can't even bend over; walk right)
I hope my input on the forum is still of some value to you. I only wish
I could answer all the questions, but I just don't know some of those
things.
My internet bill came again (has it been a whole month already?!) But,
that can slide for a while. Right now, the phone company is threatening
to shut my phone off if I don't send them at least $25.21. I got a
"suspension warning" from them (MCI). That's not the total that I owe
them, but that's what it'll take to keep my phone alive.
If you want to help, my MCI account number is 6FH09410 for phone number
(307) 432-7538 (my #). I don't know where the MCI web site is, but it
shouldn't be hard to find. The MCI contact number is (800) 306-9320.
I had a small check last week of $44. I bought cat food, ferret food
and a jar of mayonnaise (got tons of bread and turkey, so not I can make
sandwiches). I had to deposit $25 of that in the bank yesterday because
my account is overdrawn. What irks me is that it cost $2 for the bus.
I now have $1 and some change left from that $44.
I finally got some help from Community Action, after being ignored for
yet another week and after having to threaten to write a letter to my
Congresswoman (still a possibility). They said they would send a check
to my landlord. Apparently they did, as I still haven't gotten an
eviction notice. *Yea!* \But, I'm still starting out this month in the
hole, too. If the weather will cooperate, and this stupid body will
cooperate, maybe it'll be a better month. As it is now, I have zero
recreation; no expenditures on enjoyment of any kind. I even make my
own cat litter out of newspaper because I can't justify buying it.
In the meantime, I am still ready, willing and able to draw or fabricate
anything you want. Just say the word. I have been thinking of making
some electrical drawings to use on your forum, but you might want to save
them for your site or book as well. As soon as I can get hold of some
old style outlets, I want to make some drawings explaining them to
others.
BTW, you have full permission to use any of *my* input on your site or in
your book(s). If it's worth anything, feel free to use it. I'm tickled
to help. :o)
Also, I have gotten several replies in private e-mails asking for further
assistance (or thanking me for my help). So, what you see on the forum
is not the only contribution to your site that I've made. Since you have
been so kind to me, I'm doing my best to represent you properly, and I am
taking seriously the job of answering as many questions as I can.
Thanks for any help you can give!
Later,
Gary
