Many Sanctuary around the county have the 501-3 tax status and have a no
adoption policy they find that many of the animals they take in have many
behavior problems or have had such an emotional shock form abuse and then
abandonment that in the best interest of the animal emotional health and
not to put them through any added stress they are aloud to live out their
life were they can guarantee the animal is going to get the best care
possible.

Every shelter mom or dad know once the animal in your care is adopted out
you have no real way of knowing what the live time of that pet will be.
You can only hope that the person you adopt to is a good one. I went to
the Zoo's web site and all of the ferrets look healthy clean and happy.
So is that so wrong of this lady to love and care for her pets. How many
of you pet owners and ferrets shelters have 50 or more ferrets in at this
time and are in need of people to donate to you to help care for them.
My baby ferret just died last weekend when I found him at a pet shop he
was in a cage that had not been cleaned in weeks and he was covered in
poop and smelled so bad a month before I got my baby ferret I rescue a
ferret from a coworker she had a very aggressive cancer cause she had
been left for months without any medical treatment. My coworker make a 6
figure salary a year there was no reason for that ferret not to have been
taken to a vet. I just wish both of my ferrets could have had a place as
nice as the Zoo maybe they would not have died so soon.

I'm sure the Zoo or any other private rescue doesn't have a 6 figure
salary but they work hard at giving the best they got to care for the pet
in their care. May I wish the best of luck to all of you rescue moms and
dads rather you adopt out or not. You are doing the animal in your care
a great service and that is all that counts. Anyone who is willing to
try and help a homeless pet love and care for them needs all the
donations they can get no matter what their adoption policies or tax
status are.
