It is with a very heavy heart that I tell everyone that my dear Georgie
lost his battle with lymphosarcoma.

George had been ill for several months and lived much longer than
expected. He was a great joy to live with and even when sick, he still
loved on me and pinned the other ferrets for ear cleaning.

For two years George has gone to the local vet school with his doctor to
educate new vets in ferrets. This year he also showed them what happens
when a ferret has lympho.

I called him my big Luggo. He weighed 4.5 pounds, and was such a sweetie
pie. He used to let my then smallest ferret, Miss Stella (she weighed
1.25 pounds) drag him around by the ear.

Maggie
