Someone said on the FML (I'm not sure exactly when, but I think within
the past week) that "IF YOU VACCINATE YOUR FERRETS, THEY WILL BE SAFE."
But that's not necessarily true, is it? I thought a vaccination was a
precaution, not a safeguard. I also thought there were more than one
kind of distemper (bacterial, viral, etc.) and ferrets aren't vaccinated
against all of them. Can someone with more information than I do please
enlighten the group? It worries me to think that someone would vaccinate
their fuzz and then think there's no way they could contract distemper.
