I was fortunate enough to be able to do a couple of shifts for Ferret Aid
at the Pet Expo in TO a few weeks ago. I just want to say gals and guys,
you are an incredible bunch of people. I have never met so many cuddly
ferrets at one time before. They were all wanting snuggles and no one
was biting (except for a few stressful times like when Randy was kissing
them :)and they had the most beautiful coats! Paige was really mean to
me, handing me big snuggly ferrets, telling me their history, saying they
would like to go home with me, and then finding them other homes. Just
kidding! I am still wanting though.

I've been missing some of my rescue/foster ferrets lately and was
wondering how they're doing. Some I only knew long enough to give a bath,
grooming and treats too, others I fostered through the stress of being
surrendered to the H.S., being fixed and fattened up for their new homes.

SNOWY? albino female adopted from London Humane Society.

? A beautiful male Panda also from the LHS, I think he went to Ottawa.

BEAR AND WEASER my first fosters for the LHS, seized from a London
breeder. They hardly had any masks at all and were very dark brown.
Weaser was very small, and Bear was big and fat when I got done with him.
They were adopted and then given up a year later when they're mom got
pregnant and had to stop her allergy meds.

ELIZABETH AND CHLOE 2 females one albino, one silver grey sable,
surrendered to me in London and adopted by a young couple going to school
here.

JEREMY named after the handsome SPCA agent who helped FAS get a cruelty
conviction in a ferret case in London. Heather, are you out there?
How's my big huggy boy? I really miss him.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of these fuzzies please let me know how
they are, I've never forgotten them. I also get a lot of calls from
people looking for ferrets, but have no ferrets to adopt out so I keep
referring them to FAS, I'm ready and able to small scale sheltering here
so let me know.
