Sunday night, May our older, deaf female decided she would rather sleep
than romp during the evening. She couldn't even be bothered getting up,
when I got ready for bed. Most nights - her and I cuddle a little, I give
her ears and neck a good rubbing and she gets her treat of nutrimalt or
petrimalt. But not Sunday night - she wanted to sleep.

Well, it seems that in the middle of the night (about 1:30 AM), Little
Miss May seemed to realized that she missed out. I woke to a ferret
kissing my nose, checking out my ears, etc. I tried to ignore her and
pretend I was asleep. Didn't work! I could almost hear her.

"Mommy, get up, pleeeaase! I really need my treat. Come one. Just for a
few minutes. Get up. Pleeeaase!"

All the while she keeps pestering me - tickling my toes, kissing my nose,
etc. I finally gave up and opened my eyes. She looked so happy. I gave
her a couple of rubs and quick treat and put her back on the floor. She
was happy and satisfied - and went back to sleep.

I was tired Monday mroning, but I couldn't be mad at her. She use to be
a biter and she didn't nip me once!
