Hi.  My ferrets do this in conjunction with licking their paws-they do it
because they're cleaning themselves.  (One of my guys is obssessive about
his bathys-he does it almost EVERY TIME he wakes up, whereas the other
does it once or twice a day.) It's actually really cute to watch!
