I agree that for yours and the ferret's sakes, he should be given to a
good home ASAP.  Not everyone is responsible enough to have ferrets, and
it sounds like you aren't.  I have a 3 year old child and 2 ferrets.  I
wouldn't think of leaving poison laying around for her to drink and then
blame her for doing it, and that's exactly what you're doing.  By the way,
if you could pull yourself out of your selfish self-pity for a second...if
your "demon" got an intestinal blockage from the rubber buttons on your
remote control and calculator, it would be 100% YOUR fault for not having
the common sense to put it up in the first place!  For your ferret's own
well being, find him a good home with people who accept ferrets for how
they are and don't expect them to be perfect little angels and condemn
them for being themselves.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to
my fantasy world where I actually love and enjoy my pets.
