There is good news. Merial has finally begun delivering their Purevax
Ferret Distemper Vaccine. If you take your ferrets in and get their
rabies vaccines first, you can tell your vet to order the new Merial
distemper vaccine for you. In a couple of weeks you should be able to go
back and get the new distemper vaccine. The rate of reactions with the
Merial vaccine is extremely low and it is totally different from Fervac
or Galaxy.
