The new Merial vaccine Purevax TM ferret distemper vaccine is readily
available to veterinarians.  Ask your vet to order some for when he gives
your ferrets their annual vaccinations.  It costs a bit more but it is
well worth it.  So far at our hospital we have used it on a number of mine
without a problem.  We haven't finished all of them yet, but so far so
good.
