I have both two ferrets and a Moluccan cockatoo....certain disaster ever
the twain should meet, so that is exactly how I deal with it....Lucifer's
(the bird) 'out-time' is when the ferrets (Sturm und Drang) are caged, and
vice-versa.  For the most part, when the bird is out, he is in an area
away from the ferrets' cage, and when the ferrets are out, Lucifer is
closed in another room (keeps him from screaming at the ferrets, as well).
