What a hoot!  What a trip!!!  What fun to watch!!!  Too cool!!
 
In April of last year the producers of Animal Planet made arrangements with
Julie Jones, a GLFA member, to tape a GLFA Fun Match at Pet Supplies Plus
in Dearborn (east side of Michigan, south of Detroit).  The crew spent
all afternoon with us and then went to Julie's house to do some additional
taping.  A couple of weeks ago, we received a copy of the segment.  We
showed it to Board members Sunday and we will show it to the general
membership at our Annual Meeting April 8.
 
The segment includes fuzzies getting a bath (primping for the Fun Match
don'tcha know).  Great shots of ferrets in costume -- the ferret who
preferred to fall asleep in the bag rather than participate in the bag
escape -- a great shot the videographer took of a ferret coming thru the
clear tube during the tube race.  A nice voiceover by then President
Stevan Arthur.  Great people-ferret shots.  Pet Projects did a great job;
it just didn't seem long enough to all of us.
 
I have no idea when this segment is going to air.
