Is it safe to treat a ferret that may have EE with Ivermectin injections?

What potential problems could there be, if any, if the ferret is treated,
but does not have EE?

Is there any risk if the ferret has:

1. unknown heart disease, problems, or heartworms?
2. IBD instead?
3. Stomach or intestinal ulcers?
4. Kidney damage or disease?
5. Liver or other organ damage/disease?
6. An intestinal blockage?
7. Adrenal gland disease?
8. Anything that hasn't already been mentioned/asked here?

Thanks in advance.
