When Ferris had his Lupron Depot (4 month) shot it took 8 weeks before it
started working. Two weeks after the shot a lump appeared on the back of
his neck. Six weeks later he started growing hair, playing and feeling
more relaxed. No difference in appetite for him, or activity, other than
when it finally started working he wasn't fussing so much with the others.
The lupron lasted about 4 months after it started working. Ferris is
scheduled for his second adrenal surgery on Feb. 22 as he is again
exhibiting adrenal related symptoms and prostate problems. sigh. Ferris
is about 6 yrs old and in good condition, very alert and playful (well
right now he is more concerned with putting ferrets away or fussing with
them - grumpy), and eats well so hopefully surgery will be a breeze,
recovery quick and total for him.

Hugs to all. tle
