To the pleasure of the ferrets, for the past year I've had a bit of a
balance problem (when someone says I'm dizzy they know what they are
talking about ;-)). I can be walking normally and all of a sudden loose
my balance. Ferret furniture is strategically placed in the rooms so that
I don't fall down, only tip over onto something. With so many little
free roam furballs I've learned to compensate, very well I might add, and
occassionally my balance antics elicit a giggle from me and they delight
the ferrets (I guess they see it as sort of a slow motion dance of joy
because I can be just as uncoordinated as them!).

The other day I was moving a freshly showered 4 level funnel cage out of
the tub (by myself) and as I headed towards the bathroom door I lost my
balance. There I stood, cage in hands, tottering on one foot, knowing
that I couldn't drop either of us for fear of landing on one of the many
ferrets at my feet. My mind battled my body as I looked down to see
several furry little bodies watching intently, all of us suspended in
time for what seemed like forever but was probably only a minute or two.

As my mind overcame my body I was able to gain my balance and continue on
with my task at which time the little ones became quite joyfully animated.

Ahhh, the things we do to keep our little ones entertained.

Warm hugs to all. tle
