I waited, but nobody provided any email addresses that they believe I am
using. I figured this would happen since there are not any others.
Apparently, this topic is closed, so I will respect those wishes.

I have agonized over this decision so please do not send me any hurtful
emails. Spanky will not integrate into the group and he is simply not
getting enough attention. This has made me feel so incredibly guilty that
I have decided to see if anyone in Washington State or Portland would want
to take him in. Again, this has not been easy for me, and I hate giving
him up. He is 1.3 years old, Marshall Farms, light chocolate with bib.
I have the original paperwork on him. Very spoiled ferret by both the
previous owner and us but he gets too nervous around other ferrets and
poops as a result. I've tried everything. My ferrets wont have him. He
would do very well with a one-ferret household or with someone who has time
for individual play times. He loves humans and did excellent with my 5 & 6
year old neices. He has NEVER bitten anyone and wont even open his mouth
to play. He is current on shots and has had an annual exam by my vet.
Since I have had him, he has not been ill but I guess he had a respiratory
infection during his first six months. He is litter-trained (except for
the pooping when scared) and is the most lovable ferret. I think he thinks
he is human. If anyone is looking for a companion for an elderly ferret,
he would probably do well, just not with young, rambunctious ones. He came
with a Quality Cage that is out in my garage, but I would prefer to keep
the cage for travel if whoever adopts him already has a cage.

Please email me privately. I have all paperwork and vet records on him.
No money will change hands, just knowing he is going to have more attention
than I can provide is enough. I do warn, I ask tons of questions! Also
would like to be able to email occasionally or visit, to see how he is
doing. I do love him but it is not fair for me to keep him locked up (if
I cannot provide four hours, I cannot keep him in good conscience).

Thanks.

Danielle
