Hey All,
 
Rinkydink is my EE confirmed girl.  Her shots came due and I took her in
for them with much trepidation.  After a thorugh consult with the vet, it
was decided to forgoe the rabies vaccines.
 
We did however give the distemper vaccine (galaxy d) as it was the lesser
of two evils.  Dr. Howard felt like the EE was treatable if aggravted while
distemper is always fatal.  As I do rescue work and am always around a lot
of critters, the risk was too great.
 
So far Rinkdydink is doing ok.  She did not have an allergic reaction,
however, there has been a change in her poops, (slight diareah w/mucus) and
a slight decrease in energy.  She is still eating well and I am watching
her closely.
