Hey All,

What is the consensus on giving vacs (distemper, rabies) to ferrets that
have insulinoma, adrenal or some other ferret diseas?

I have heard not to give vacs, but if the ferret is not a candidate for
surgery, this would mean it would not be protected for the rest of its
live.

I have one with EE (Rinkydink) now, confirmed thru biopsy, who is due her
vacs. She is only a little over 1 year old so I am concerned about her
not having the vacs for the rest of her life.

I have another with insulinoma, showing signs of adrenal, heart arrythmia
and ferret asthma (Noble) who is not due yet but want to have an answer
before he is.

Thanks for the input,

HappyTails,
Karen
