Holly- Giardia IS rare in these guy.  Mine had Clustidium(sp?) once which
seems very hard to diffrenciate in a fecal.  For fun at work (a veterinary
clinic of course) we had the doctors and several assistants look at the
smear- you'd be surprised at how many of them said that it was giardia-
when inded it was Clustridum... just a note..
