I read the posts about surgery costs and had to respond.  Last week, I took
my Smokey to Dr.Charles Weiss for surgery for insulinoma.  He removed 3
tumors on the pancreas and also found one on the left adrenal.  Before
surgery, he did bloodwork to confirm the insulinoma diagnosis from our
regular vet.  Total cost---$414.40.  Not bad,I think, from a man considered
by many to be the best ferret vet around.
