I would NEVER use any Hartz Mountain product on a ferret, especially a
flea preparation.  It is not at all the same as Advantage.  If you haven't
opened it, my personal opinion is that it would be good to take it back
for a refund or just throw it out.  I'm not saying this lightly.
 
Hartz Mtn does not have a good reputation for ANYTHING, especially flea
products.  PLEASE don't use it on your ferrets.
 
If you can't find Advantage in a store, you will be able to purchase it
from your vet.  If it seems expensive, it isn't.  You only use a small
amount and it lasts one month... it's a small price to pay.
