For the record--
Luck Duck was one of the original ACME ferrets owned by Ann & Howard Davis.
The soup was concocted for him during time of illness, and circulated in
the ACME FERRET newsletter- and later posted on the LIFE website to help
others who's ferrets might benefit.
 
I know many shelters who adapted this original post op soup recipe!

PS- ferretone on the belly - a tip to make nail clipping easier with
ferrets was first published in UFO newsletter in 1993 ( now defunct I
believe). :)
