I just recently read in a Yahoo! News/Variety article that there may be
an animated ferret movie in the works! The article is titled: "Archerd:
Pleshette's rock shock; Kramer alive and well" and can be found at:

http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20000824/en/people-archerd_45.html

Below is the paragraph that talks about the movie:
"He'll [Joel Gray] detour via Toronto to voice the animated feature,
"Ferret Tina," which he describes as "a ferret's answer to 'The Lion
King.'" He'll be seen on the bigscreen Sept. 22 with the release of both
Michael Ritchie's "The Fantasticks" and "Dancer in the Dark."

Sorry no other information on it. If I stumble across anything I will be
sure to post it.

As for AB 854, the latest I heard was that it died a quiet death in
suspension, but I don't know all the details. Since I haven't gotten an
update from Jeanne Carley, I haven't put anything up on the new Ferrets
Anonymous website. Once I do, be sure that it will be posted on the
website.

Also, for anyone living in the Pasadena area, there is a FA meeting at on
Saturday August 26 at the Humane Society in Pasadena. Please come if you
can as we will be getting the FA newsletter ready for distrubution (ie
putting address labels on them). Its a great way to meet new ferret lovers
and to brag and ask questions about your ferrets. The meeting is in the
upstairs conference room and is supposed to start at 10am, although usually
by the time we get all settled in the room it's closer to 10:30am. And
afterwards we (usually ) head over to LeRoy's in Monrovia for lunch. If
you have any questions, please email me at [log in to unmask] or
visit the FA website at http://www.ferretsanonymous.com
