Hey, Sukie, Augie believes she invented the idea of using the
mini-bungycord hair elastics for collars. She has worn one ever since
the first time i nearly stepped on her. They stretch out after a while
and she loses them and we have watched her wiggle out of one when it caught
on something. She doesn't climb any more, so i'm not concerned about a
'hanging'. She also has a 'figure 8' leash for outside walks.

"Walks?" i trust no one is trying to claim aerobic points for a ferrit
walking expedition.(except of course for the ferrets) There are just too
many people who want to stop and talk with you about them. Of course there
are the times when , for a bath or the like, Ray has put the collar in his
pocket. and i find myself rushing to 'assist' as the bell climbs the
stairs.

(augie is 9 with cardiomyopathy and isn't supposed to climb stairs, ray
needs all the exercise that can be arranged.)

Donna
