Sean's miracle is marvellous. Years ago before I became disabled I worked with people with learning difficulties, some very severe. I often took animals in to work to communicate with them and it worked very well. At a very large show recently I met two other wheelchair users with ferrets. Animals have a sort of inner link to 'special people' and I am sure that they understand them better than we do. After all Dolphins know, don't they? On another note I have been lucky to have had 2 articles printed on disabilities and ferret keeping recently. One is a 10 page article in Uk's Go ferret magazine no. 5. and the other is in Disability Now magazine. Disability Now paid me so now I have all the bedding and food taken care off for my fuzzies for a few months. Living on disability my fuzzies come first and are the only thing that keep me going most of the time. Jacqui A site I have which is for my ferrets. http://www.btinternet.com/~hobgoblina/ferret_mania/ This site was designed by my 20 year old daughter who suffers from a rare brain condition called Psuedotumor Cerebri.
