I have got to tell you something so FUNNY!!!!! Given how Seven of Six was so thick of fur and inclined to be uncomfy with close checking we'd just gone from size and face shape -- I mean, Seven LOOKS male: big size and short face. Well, today Glueball was visiting Seven and Gooey tends toward biting males on the genitals when annoyed. Seven did some squeaking so we separated them and then had to STRUGGLE to hold Seven still enough to make sure there wasn't a bitten penis. OH, gosh -- red in the face! There was no penis at all!!!!!!!! Seven is a very masculine looking female! Should have moved aside that fur earlier. What has it been: 17 or 18 years we've had ferrets now, and she's not our first masculine looking female, but this is just so funny. So, when you newbies make a wrong gender assumption you aren't alone. We all do it now and then. [Posted in FML issue 2901]
