Hi-- For everyone who offered rides to get Silver Boy from Oh to NC thank you. The family in NC has decided no to take Silver Boy and purchased a ferret from the local pet store instead. Silver Boy still has a waiting list we're working through. One of my silver mitt girls left with a new family today. My sable boy Demon Child has turned into a kisser. He's not as mellow as Silver Boy, but once he is worn out he will tolerate being held and will give a quick kiss or two. I still have 8 rambunctious kits looking for loving homes, 1 silver mitt girl, 3 sable girls, 2 sable boys, and 1 albino girl. 2 kits are 8 mos old, all shots, the rest are 6 mos old, first distemper only, second due this week, some are fixed some aren't. All be fixed in the next 4 weeks. Our silver mitt rescue girl, Tarot, got a clean bill of health today. She only has rat tail, not adrenal. She is now available. She is a 2 yr old silver mitt girl. Mellow tempered and was easily introduced to one of my smaller play groups of ferrets with all permanent residents. She has been abandoned at a local pet store because "she was too much trouble". Other than a strong curious streak to explore, she is a sweetie. Relatively mellow tempered, not an alpha female so she does well with most of my other mellow tempered permanent ferrets. We have 5 wonderful special needs ferrets between 1-3 yrs of age, 4 sables one 1 panda who came to me as fear biters that want to have permanent home of their own. We've had them about a week and so far have handled them without so much as a nipping incident. Happy Holidaze, KG Celtic Ferrets Columbus, OH [Posted in FML issue 2900]
