I just read about Bob's Chicken Gravy in the latest issue of Modern Ferret
and I was just wondering what are the importance of eggshells? Just seems
a bit odd to me, I had always thought that the nutrition what on the inside
of an egg. Also does anyone have a suggestion on how much of this to feed
a day? My girl has cancer and has been eating Eukanuba Recover Formula,
and I recently read somewhere that it is probably not a good idea to feed
cancer patients food with lots of carbohydrates because the cancer cells
can make energy from carbs easier than fat...or something like that. I am
not sure if the Eukanuba has a lot of carbs or not, but she was on this to
gain weight and now that she is a pudgy 2 pounds, so I thought I would look
for something else. But, I do not want to put her back on kibble food
because of the carbs and this gravy sounded like a good thing...especially
since they said that it doesn't contain a lot of carbs, which are
apparently not good for insulinoma kids as well.

One more thing, I was hoping I could that I could get someone else to grind
up the chicken for me, since I am a vegetarian and would have no other use
for buying a meat grinder; does anyone know where this is done? I heard
most grocery stores won't do this; do you think a specialty meat market
might? Thanks, oh and please email me at [log in to unmask], because it
sometimes takes me a while to catch up on my mail at work.
