I am faced with my first adrenal problem. I've been researching on my own,
but I would also like the list's opinions.

It is my understanding that it is better to do surgery to remove the
offending tumor(s) as soon as possible. My vet suggests Lysodren instead
of surgery. If you think she is wrong, help me convince her. If I am
wrong, please, convince me.

I like this vet because I have been able to communicate with her in the
past. I don't think she is extremely ferret knowledgeable, but she is the
best I have been able to find and I am confident that she will do what is
best for my ferret if she is presented with useful information.

If she has done any adrenal surgeries, I am not aware of them. She has
done a successful exploratory on one of my other ferrets though. I don't
think she will attempt any surgery if she isn't confident in her ability
to do it correctly.

Thanks for your input,
Britta Williams

FYI: I live in Louisville KY. That's Northern KY/Southern IN area. If
anyone has a GREAT ferret vet nearby, please let me know.
