I got hurt awhile back and have not been able to give the ferrets the attention I normally do, they have had to play more or less without me, can't seem to get up after getting down on my hands and knees, so it's been about 8 weeks of "Mom why won't you play with us....no not give me kiss.... PLAY" So I went to town to buy them there treats and while I was there, and feeling very guilty, I found that your Walmart had 40 lbs sacks of potting soil on sale for $0.89, and children's blue whale wading pools for $4.00 so I got there food at the pet store and some more treats and then I bought 160lbs of potting soil, a wading pool, and on the way home stopped and pulled up a couple of stakes of Milo, Now there room is tiled and I turned them out to play in the front room and while they were playing with there old toys and looking bored, I moved the wading pool and the potting soil in to there room, now I must admit it looked pretty good when I got done, there was 4 stocks of Milo and I put in some rocks and even went and got some grass and put in the pool......it was time, with squeaky toy and treats in hand I called the crew, first they thought they had to go to there room, play time was over, so many were hiding out, but a few of the older ferts came willing and the look on there faces when they saw this little jungle was priceless, they would look at me, look at it, look at me and so on, finally B.B. went and climbed in hopped and gave the joy dook, do you have any idea what 78 ferrets can do to 160 lbs of potting soil in a 9 X 12 room? But the important thing is they had fun, so I had better go and finish cleaning up, still have to get the potting soil off the ceiling fan. [Posted in FML issue 2824]
