Hi all: I'm a long time lurker on the FML and haven't posted in well over a year, if longer. My computer has crashed enough times that the tape backup I had went corrupt. I've lost everything this last time. Bob C - I've lost my gravy recipe... again. Could you email it to me? Pretty please? [I sent it. BIG] Bob's mention of pant legs in the last FML brought a recent event fresh into my mind again. We had our fuzzies home for the weekend and were doing all the maintenance work... ears, toenails and of course, baths. I love that low necked, flat headed glare I get every time I start shampooing the ferret. There are so many messages in that look... all of them making it very clear they're going to get even with you. My son, Bobby, was helping me while my daughter watched the gang out in the living room. Our kitchen is completely blocked off because they can get under the cabinets. We had just finished bathing his 'special favorite', Trixie. I took drippy Trixie and plunked her in my sons hands and the towel went over her head and she was briskly and quickly rubbed free of all the excess water. I had just rinsed my hands off when I turned back in time to see Trixie wriggle free of the towel and launch herself up to my sons shoulder. She instantly got her nose under the t-shirt and zipped down to where it was tucked into his pants. There, she started doing warp speed laps around his waist, pausing about 3/4 of the way around each time to shake vigorously. Then she somehow managed to get her nose under the waistband of his jeans and was off. Now these jeans were not tight, but they weren't loose either. Bobby's eyes about popped out of his head and he made this really odd noise and did a very passable war dance himself. Since Trixie was already shaking and digging around his knee, he managed to get his leg over the barrier (which is about 40" high) and deposit Trixie on the floor on the other side where she could freak out with the rest of the gang. Just had to mention that. She's been trying to climb 'up' his pant legs ever since. Caryn [Posted in FML issue 2801]
