>From: Sunshine <[log in to unmask]> >Subject: Experienced Ferret Owner Posts >I've been reading about this and wondered what's up. People giving away >mellow ferret's and only wanting experienced owner's. Sure don't >understand why a person has to be experienced to own a ferret. Can the >people who post these post tell me what's going on? From what I remember >the ferret's are not biter's just ferret's. I've never made one of these posts, and never will, but I think it's pretty obvious that the people giving up their ferrets want to make sure they get the very best of care. Sure, there are many inexperienced people that will make excellent ferret care givers, but there are others that practically kill their ferret due to their inexperience and uncaring nature. Though lets not forget that some "experienced" people don't do so great either. But the odds are in your favor if they have some experience. Would you be willing to give your ferrets to someone on a 50/50 chance they'll get the proper care? For the ferrets, Mike * Michael F.
