First off, I want to say that the most recent "personal attack" on Judy Cooke, did not come from me. I think it is a shame that anybody would call her humorous post "stupid" and I do empathize with her on this, that is simply not fair. Keep in mind that I have very little sympathy for this person, but that is just not the kind of behavior ANYONE should practice on this list. There are many posts on here that could seem "stupid" to some, but helpful to others, and that is a necessary part of this digest. Hopefully, the party who flamed and degraded me for posting my Boa Constrictor story, has learned from this. As you all know, I am not friends with Judy Cooke. Although I feel it was wrong for anyone to bash her for her recent post, I do feel that maybe the shoe is now on the other foot. There is a lesson to be learned: "People in glass houses should not throw stones" I hope this message will be taken kindly by Judy, and not as sarcasm or a flame. We all learn from our mistakes, and I was greatly hurt by what she did to me, but I survived (in part, to all the supportive, kind words I received from the nice people on here). Calling somebody's post "stupid" is childish, arguing about "ferret-related issues" and voicing opinions on such, IS what this list is about. Instead of using the word "stupid", why not voice your opinion in a constructive manner and let people know where you are coming from. I know it is hard for some to simply argue the issues without the personal stuff and name-calling getting in the way. Think about this, we are in this for the ferrets, not to fight over personality clashes. We all love are animals, or we would not be here! Just my two cents~ P.S. I hope that Judy enjoys herself in Vegas, we all need a vacation now and again. It is not for us to judge how she decides to enjoy herself, it is her business. As long as her ferrets are cared for and loved, that is all that should matter to anyone on this list. From what I have heard of Judy Cooke, nobody could accuse her of not taking good care of her animals or loving them completely. [Posted in FML issue 2818]
