Selling ferrets is, even though the state seems to turns a blind eye to pet shops who sell carriers for $100-150 that happen to have ferrets in them. You might try Dr. Rosemarie Asterino of Clinton Animal Hospital in Clinton (864-833-2487). I haven't had any personal experience w/her other than a very nice discussion when we hosted a table at the Humane Society pet fair in Greenwood. I've recommended a few people Dr. Asterino & they're very happy w/her both personally & professionally. If you're looking for a companion for Lucy & can do a day trip, we're not that far away. Give me a call.
