hi to all! well, i have to say that ever since i got my tinkerbelle, the other 3 want to rough her up. after a llloonngg time with only playtime allowed around each other, they finally decided to get along but only if they could chase her. and chase they did...i never thought a feret could run so darn fast! good news update: yesterday they played and dooked with each other!! yaaa! tinkerbelle finally got accepted in the little biz of mine. i called from work last night and my mom told me that kikomann and tinker were(shush! don't tell to many folks now...) sleeping in the same hammock together! oh joy! finally some peace of mind that she won't be pieces of fluff on the floor! they still scuffle but i think it is a dominance issue, or pecking order i think others call it. lol, one night not too long ago, i seen kiko slip from an upper hammock to crawl into the hammock that tinkerbelle was sleeping in. he purposefully woke her up, to which she replied with a ghastly scream at him. his answer was to wrestle her still....and lick the devil out of her ears! take that tinkerbelle! funny, how beautiful she is and how well she loves people but she turns into a little screaming shrew around other ferrets. little by little, she has developed a liking to my other 3 ferrets. she now will make them back off instead of running(darnit! we prefered the chase game tinker-- interjection from anastsia), will bully one of them from the food bowl for herself, and has taken to trying to steal the dryer tube from them to hide it...somewhere. this improvement is graciously accepted and i hope by the time of the penn show next week(i'm counting days and making lists :> ) that all four will be easy to live in the same big carrier. if not, then i will bring a small cage for tinker but i'm hoping it's unnecessary. one last comment from me to mr. gruber, i love to read the fml because of entertaining stories and valuable info from vets and shelter ops. let me restate that....i love to read the fml because of entertaining stories and valuable info from vets and shelter ops. i'm sure ya get my point big guy. malissa and my little 4 fuzzy biz [Moderator's note: And that was followed up with private email which I much appreciated.. thanks.
