Hello. My name is Dee and I've been following FML for about 3 years now. I have 6 fuzzies, mostly rescue/adoptees. 2 of these guys are brothers who were rescued from that fur farm in Iowa (don't ask me to recall the name of it, I forgot). Anyway, on to my question. Dash, who has cataracts, has been, of late, accosting the other ferrets. He holds them down biting their necks and tries to mount them. Then he "goes to town" with a rhythm to envy any rapper. None of my other fuzzies have displayed this behavior, not even Dash's real brother, Charles. I was wondering if this is because they were altered later in life? Does it mean he still has these "instincts"? Needless to say, the other fellows in the cage do not welcome this sort of behavior and I've seen many a ferret go running to the top of the cage as fast as he can get away. Side note, Dash never seems to bother the one female I have. Is this something we're all just going to have to "deal with"? ~ Dee & the circus of six Mooch: "Hey! Get outta there!" 'Spresso: "*yawn* what's going on down there?" Breezely Bruin: "Keep that thing away from me or I'll ...I'll.... OUCH!" Charles: *rolls eyes* Oh, I'm so embarrassed. I guess you can't pick your relatives" Dash: Hubba Hubba Vera: "what? is it my deodorant?" [Posted in FML issue 2703]
