I worked until 2 p.m. today, ran ferret errands, and walked in my home. Cat wanted out. So I went to open the porch door. Poop-multiple samples-had been left out for my viewing pleasure all along the metal tract. I went to the kitchen to get paper towels, but stopped in my tracks. The lovely flowers in a dozen flower pots my friend gave to me for cheering him up lay all over the table, and all over the floor. I didn't want to walk on the dirt to get to towels, so ran to the bathroom to get to the towels there. I stepped in the dark on a poops located in the middle of the bathroom floor and carried that on the bottom of my shoe for quite some time. Meanwhile, the cat is yowling to go out, and latched to my leg and my monkey business is now awake and following me around in anticipation of play ,and toys, and hugs. As I clean up the mess, little feet kick the soft black moist earth deeper into my once lovely carpet that was just professionally cleaned. I had to get into the pantry to get more towels to clean up the creative visions left for me all along the metal porch tract. Spent a long time cleaning up cement poops. When I returned to the kitchen, the stinkers had tipped over a 25 pound bag of birdseed that I wisely kept locked in the pantry ,and three of them were busy digging it all out of the bag. This was what mom had planned for them. Great idea mom. Chewy was starting on the 50 pound bag of corn as I returned from grabbing a broom out of the front closet to clean up the birdseed. Someone out there today is thinking that it couldn't be any worse. Today was just another ferret day. Hope I made your day look a little better :-) Lisette [Posted in FML issue 2665]
