Max went in for what was going to be Adrenal Surgery as evidenced by the Univ. of Tenn. Adrenal Panel. The results were as follows: Test Result Normal Range Estradiol pmol/L 219 30-180 pmol/L 17 OH Progesterone nmol/L 0.1 0-0.8 nmol/L Androstenedione nmol/L 328.5 0-15. nmol/L These results: [x] support clinical signs for presence of adrenal disease Anyway Dr. Werwa went in and basically found nothing wrong. He even did the panel on his own ferret "Moe" who was even showing hair loss (Max has had no hair loss) and also indicated he had adrenal. Moe also didn't have any tumors. Dr. Werwa did state that he felt the Univ. of Tenn. Adrenal Panel was preferable than ultra-sound to diagnose adrenal disease problems even though Max & Moe had "false positives" in this case. Dr. Werwa said he'd discuss this if anyone was interested and allowed me to post his number, but I think it would be better to E-Mail me and I can mail you back his phone number as opposed to posting here. -- Tim, Makai (hey, the goofball's back), Max (why do I have a zipper?)
