Hi, everyone, Two new ferrets arrived at Diane Campbell's Ferret Guardian Rescue Haven this weekend, Freddie and Fruity. Fruity, sadly, will have to have adrenal surgery next week. This brings the shelter population to 13, which doesn't sound like that much until you realize that 11 of them are special needs ferrets. Pugsley is undergoing long term treatment for lymphosarcoma, and Squeezil, his cagemate, is recovering from left adrenal surgery. Even if you can't take in more fuzzies right now, you can help. The shelter's account at Northwoods Animal Hospital is depleted now, and we received only one donation over the holidays. Please consider helping us continue caring for sick ferrets by making a contribution directly into the shelter account at the hospital. Make any checks payable to Northwoods Animal Hospital, and memo Acct: #9538. Checks should be sent to: Northwoods Animal Hospital 980 Northwoods Drive Cary, NC 27513 Another thing you can do is to sponsor one of these two pairs of special needs ferrets. If you are interested, please contact Diane Campbell directly at (704) 872-9538. Thank you so much for your consideration. All the best, and dooks from the fuzzies, Caitlyn Martin co-webmaster, FGRH ________________________________________________ Caitlyn M.
