This is my first post, but I feel this info is important.

I live in the SE Pennsylvania region, near Philly. The other day, I came
across a store called Pets Plus, and decided to see if I could pick up
*sigh* even MORE toys for my two new furballs. Much to my chagrin, I
noticed that the "Ferret" toys this store sells are made by a company
called "Very Important Pet" (VIP), and it made me question what these
people know about ferrets! One of the toys is a plastic ball, but instead
of a hard plastic, It is made with many small beads which are kind of
"melted" together. Testing the ball, I noticed that I could puncture it
and break away these little beads with a small amount of pressure from my
fingernail. Imagine if a ferret got ahold of this-- I could guarantee the
ball wouldn't last more than a day, and all those soft little plastic beads
would be EXACTLY where you don't want 'em. They also sell a hard ball with
a soft foam outside, and it seems dangerous as well. Has anyone heard of
this VIP company? I want to try to keep them from printing "ferret toy" on
packages that contain toys that are not safe from ferrets.

Thanks!
