This does pose a problem... it is purely a personal decision... you have to consider: how your house/home is set up... your life style...work?...stay at home??? your ferrets temperments... kids???...no kids???? other pets???...do they get along??? I used to work and my ferrets stayed in their cage while I was at work... and had "play time" before and after work...then I moved to Utah and don't work now...and I let them out when I get up and put them back between 8:30 and 9 p.m....usually...maybe I am lucky in that they only have a few places that they are not allowed...laundry room...for instance...and it has a door that closes... They VERY RARELY get into anything that is a problem...and I was just thinking about that...reading the other persons post about the new orange cat and the ferret getting caught between the dresser and the wall...maybe because mine are out all the time...those places are not a novelty cause they are always there...I know that as soon as I see a potential problem... or rather THEY point out a potential problem...and I fix it...that is when they are interested in it!!!...any time I change anything around..add anything new...they know it...and investigate... So what I am saying, I guess, is maybe her babies get into so much cause they ARE in their cage alot and everything is always new to them...they ARE very curious creatures!!!! But, I would say that you need to be home at least most of the time for that to work...I could go to work now and leave them out and not worry about it...but that is because they are USED to being out... Well...again...just my personal observations!...:) KITY=^..^=KAT Click here to go to The Ferrets' Pages...
