Hi there!! Just a quick note to Fluff Fluff's mom who has a video of him nipping her son's nose - you may not want to send that video to American's Funniest Home Videos. You might find it funny and understand the situation behind the incident and all, but other people who don't know much about ferrets might not. Unfortunately, there are ALOT of people out there who think that ferrets are wild, vicious animals and seeing footage like this might just perpetuate this myth. So many of us have been trying for a long time to make people understand that ferrets are wonderful *domesticated* PETS and it's really difficult to make others see this. I just fear that a video like that, taken out of context and possibly shown on a show watched by hundreds of thousands of people would just give some nay-sayers fuel to say "See!!? They *are* nasty and bite!! They must be wild! They should be away with!!" I'm certain you just wanted to show a funny video of your pet, but there are possible repercussions that you may not have considered. Just please think about it a bit more before making a decision as to what to do with that tape. Take care and hugs to all!
