The Black Footed Ferret is still endangered, very much so, and is still a
wild animal. HOWEVER... there are some pet stores who sell their sable or
black sable ferrets as "black footed ferrets" because they just don't know
any better! Some believe that BFF is a colour (where the feet are black,
they call them black footed ferrets - duh) Obviously, either the pet store
sold this ferret as a BFF colour (where the person mistook that as a BFF)
or as a BFF. OR they could actually have a BFF in which case, the Dept of
Agriculture will probably fine, and/or imprison them and the people they
bought the ferret from.

I would suggest that some photos of Rosco be taken and uploaded, BFF's look
totally different from true ferrets, and people should be able to tell the
difference from a photo without a problem.

Hope this helps,

Sam
