Hi everyone, I have never posted before and I really enjoy all the stories and advise posted on the list. Hope you guys can help. Isis (an albino female rescue ferret) has really bad teeth. Her roots are showing on her canine teeth, and her gums are bright red. The tartar build-up is horrible on her molars. Needless to say she has a bad case of zoo breath. Thankfully she is still eating well, but the vet says we need to clean her teeth. Okay. Set an appointment to clean her teeth, but I was wondering if anybody knew what happens when ferrets with really bad teeth get their teeth cleaned. Will her gums get healther? Is it just like people? Thanks for any information, Tammy [log in to unmask] [Posted in FML issue 2560]
